I'm an Army veteran, lecturer and university professor who teaches storytelling and communication. I'm also a professionally trained narrator and actor. I'll repeat here what I tell my students - storytelling requires authenticity! You don't need to live the story you're telling, but you have to become an anthropologist of the perspectives and experiences you're voicing.
The acclaimed narrator George Guidall said it best, "The artist when he paints a picture has a pallet, has a brush, a canvas. Similar to a narrator. A narrator’s brush is his voice…" This is the perspective I bring to my work. When behind the mic, I speak to just one listener as if I'm speaking to a friend. Storytelling and communication is my lifelong practice. Let's talk about what I can bring to your project.
